這是一個以照片和影像為主體的傻瓜書（dummies）市集。
以影像作為媒介、書作為載體的創作者將會帶來自己印的書。
│什麼是 DUMMIES│
網路上對dummy book的定義大約是一本粗略的攝影樣書，是視覺實體化的階段。對我們而言大概是自己用影像做成書，試著印個十本二十本的感覺。樣書也可以就一直維持是一本傻瓜書也OK的狀態。不見得要變成一本很完整的攝影書。
│pop-up市集喝喝翻翻書│
不在典型展出的藝廊白白空間，不是大的逛不完的藝術書展。市集會辦在一個白天小酒吧，使用現成的桌子、吧台、牆面。另有一桌會擺出我們家裡私藏的攝影愛書和自出版刊物。

週六當天創作者們將當場合作市集特刊。台灣特產便利商店印表機出品，現場編輯，傻瓜書日第一回試刊號（含神秘bounus track），攤主作品和攤主的愛一次滿足。週日限量販售！
當代影像裡的當代是什麼，我們正在做的、回應的就可以是當代。如果你也想讀，大家自己做的、關於我們的世代的影像書，五月的第三個週末，傻瓜書日歡迎您闔家蒞臨。

2018 Fotobook DUMMIES Day #1
‘‘The dummy book is a rough mock-up for a picture book, as visualised at this stage by the creator. They can be made for the creator's own purposes as part of the development process, but also as the final submission to a publisher’’.
Fotobook DUMMIES Day is a dummy book fair which mainly focus on images and photos. We hope to meet more people like us : self-publishers in Taiwan. We’d like to know what are all these people doing, and the possibilities when images turn into books. For us, It’s okay for dummy just keep being dummy.
The event will take place in an unconventional place, instead of a typical art gallery with white walls. Things that were already in the space will be put to good use as a part of the book fair. It's not gonna be like those grand and formal Fine Art Fair, but more like a small gathering, where the self-publishers can meet the readers and their peers.
There'll be a special collaboration with all the self-publishers on the event day to create the very first edition of our online bookstore. PUBLICATION 0 will be selling exclusively on Sunday.
Anyone who will enjoy reading a dummy book with a beer in hand on a casual weekend are all welcome.
